EVE Online is the first supported game on AltNet. The integration is designed around the identities and history players build in New Eden: characters, corporations, alliances, ships, locations, market items, and public combat activity.
Official character authorization
When a player links an EVE character, AltNet sends the player through EVE Online’s official authorization system. AltNet does not ask for the player’s EVE account password. The player approves the permissions requested by the integration and can later disconnect the character or revoke authorization through supported controls.
Character and organization discovery
AltNet search can find EVE characters, corporations, and alliances by name. Character pages provide a place to view supported public character information and activity without mixing that data into an unrelated generic profile layout.
Market and item browsing
The EVE Search experience includes a browsable Market & Items hierarchy. Players can move through familiar categories such as ships, ship equipment, ammunition, drones, skills, structures, blueprints, reactions, and ship SKINs, then open individual item details where available.
Browse the EVE universe
AltNet also provides structured universe browsing for regions, constellations, and solar systems. This makes Search useful even before a player knows the exact name of the location or item they want to find.
Killmails and activity
Supported public EVE activity can appear in character and social-feed contexts. Killmail views are designed to present useful combat context such as participants, ships, locations, and engagement information while keeping the surrounding AltNet social experience consistent.
Privacy and connected-character controls
Players can manage connected EVE characters from AltNet and use supported privacy controls for character-related features. AltNet’s account and moderation systems are separate from EVE account credentials, and disconnecting AltNet does not require sharing a game password with AltNet support.
AltNet is an independent third-party service. EVE Online and related intellectual property belong to their respective rights holders. See Game & Third-Party Notices for attribution and additional EVE-specific information.
