AltNet is built for people to connect game characters, share activity, and interact with other players. These Community Rules apply to conduct and User Content on AltNet and supplement our Terms of Service.

Terms such as Supported Games, Game Providers, and User Content have the meanings described in the Terms of Service.

1. Treat people like people

Do not harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, dox, or repeatedly target another person. Competitive game rivalry, disagreement, and discussion of in-game conflict are allowed; real-world abuse is not.

2. No hate or dehumanizing abuse

Do not attack, demean, or dehumanize people based on protected characteristics. Do not promote organizations or ideologies whose primary purpose is hatred, terrorism, or violent extremism.

3. No sexual exploitation or sexually explicit abuse

Do not post sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, or other illegal sexual material. AltNet is not intended to be a service for pornography or sexually explicit content, and such content may be removed.

Serious violations may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

4. No credible threats or promotion of real-world violence

Do not make credible threats, encourage real-world violence, celebrate serious real-world harm in a way that targets victims, or provide content intended to facilitate serious physical harm.

Virtual combat and ordinary discussion of conflict or combat within Supported Games are not prohibited merely because they involve fictional or in-game violence.

5. Protect privacy

Do not publish another person’s sensitive real-world personal information without permission, including information that could reasonably facilitate stalking, harassment, fraud, or physical harm.

Game information that is legitimately public or made available through Supported Game systems is treated differently from private real-world personal information.

6. No impersonation, fraud, or deceptive manipulation

Do not impersonate another person, falsely claim ownership or control of a game character, run scams, manipulate engagement, abuse reporting systems, or misrepresent purchases, subscriptions, affiliations, or transactions.

7. No malware, exploits, or service abuse

Do not distribute malware, probe or exploit AltNet systems, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls or rate limits, overload the Services, or automate interactions in a way that harms AltNet or other users.

8. Respect intellectual property

Only upload User Content that you have the right to share. Do not use AltNet to distribute infringing material, misuse another party’s trademarks or copyrighted works, or falsely claim ownership of someone else’s work.

Game-specific intellectual-property and third-party notices are available in our Game & Third-Party Notices.

9. Keep content relevant and usable

Spam, repetitive promotional content, deceptive engagement tactics, and disruptive posting may be limited or removed. Advertising or commercial promotion inside User Content may also be restricted when it interferes with the community experience or violates these Rules.

10. Reporting and blocking

Use AltNet’s reporting tools for content or behavior that may violate these Rules. Use blocking when you do not want applicable AltNet social interaction with another account.

Blocking affects applicable AltNet social content and interactions. It does not erase or hide underlying game-generated events or public game information that exists independently of AltNet.

11. Enforcement

Reports may be reviewed using available context. Depending on the issue, enforcement may include content removal, feature restrictions, warnings, suspension, account termination, or other reasonable action.

AltNet may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary for moderation, abuse prevention, security, disputes, or legal compliance.

12. Appeals and questions

If you believe moderation action was taken in error, or if you have a safety concern that cannot be handled through the in-app reporting tools, contact support@altnetapp.com with enough information for us to identify and review the issue.
